crater object?

I have been looking for an impact crater or pit for things like meteor impacts or bomb craters.

I am trying to create some rather impressive potholes in roads and other terrain

Has a crater. You could also, as long as the base mesh was detailed enough, just use a DForm in DAZ Studio or a magnet in Poser.

you can also easily make a crater in Carrara
I believe you can in Bryce too and export an obj

Thanks everyone, these are good ideas, I don't have any other modeling program than DAZ and (2 copies) hexagon.

I realized that I could also try and fiddle around with displacement - but that may be too limited.
