DSON download failing

Hi,
I hope this'll be a quick fix. I just searched the forums, and only found something on "DSON *install* failed" in this section, so I'm posting here.

I've tried to download the DSON importer over and over, and I'm always told the download 'failed'.
Can't figure why this is happening, and I've run out of ideas to try for fixing it.
**Maybe it's something wrong with firefox browser?
Anybody know how I can get the dsonimporter to download?

Are you downloading it from your Product Library page using your browser, or with DAZ Install Manager?

Running from my product library page using my browser.
DIM has gone funny a few times, so generally I like to stick with the standard downloads, with which I pretty much know how to keep track of things like the *.exe files, etc. I've moved Poser and other related programs (incl DIM) to my External HD, since this laptop is pretty old, and I need to keep the HD as bare as possible, which isn't very. lol
I can maybe try DIM as a last resort. But as far as I can remember I've never had browser download pull this stunt on me, so I'd like to find ways to figure how it's doing it.

Make sure you clear your browser cache, or it will keep failing at the same point. Which version are you downloading?

    Version 1.1.3.50 Win 32bit

Tried clearing cache again. It looked like it was trying to download (it had done that before), but went to 'failed' again.

    This is wacky...

I just tried it with Firefox and it downloaded okay. Can you try a different browser?

I can give it a shot.
I think the only other browser I have on this machine is MSIE, although I have Chrome sneaking on every so often.
If it doesn't work, I'll either try DIM, or I'll just give it a rest until tomorrow.

Either way, I'll say thanks for helping me out here, today. I do very much appreciate it. :-)
I'll aim to write here tomorrow no matter what happens.
