Install Manager one time use?

I don't like putting automatic downloaders or installers on my computer but it seems you have to if you want to use the new CMS.

Is it possible to install this automatic installer, use it just to install the new Daz Studio and CMS versions and then switch it off and go back to manual installation of content?

    Yes, DIM will run only when you tell it to and will download and install only what you tell it to when it is running.
