Michael 4 - What is the deal with this money pit of a figure????

What is the deal with this figure????

Nothing I have bought for this character works.

Hair loads in the middle of his head, clothes don't fit and I feel as though I have wasted money on him.
I realise I could probably fart around re-positioning stuff but then morphs have no effect or are also
distorted. Besides why pay money for things when you have to mess with them.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have spoken to support and they gave me a fix that has not worked.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Merged duplicate threads.

As robkelk says, you do need to make sure that the items you are using together go together - it might help to give some examples, and step-by-step descriptions of how you are applying them.

I bought the Michael 4 3D Model Pro Suite in mid May and havce been nothing but disappointed with it.
Considering the spend this figure is a let down.

I have to load it as a Poser format which I did not realise until told.
As a result not everything shows up in Smart Content.
This is probably the most annoying problem...

I am an artist not an IT specialist.
When you pay for a piece of software you expect it to work, especially since the going rate is 200 bucks!

To answer Richard, I loaded hair that is supposed to work with M4 (Elven Hair sku: 13843) and it is just above his eyes.

I don't have the product, but ... looking at the product page I see it is .hr2 format and that may cause it to load in a 'default location/fit'. In the Posing/Shaping tab there should be a section called something like Fits. Hopefully within that there will be a M4 setting which you will need to set to either 100% or 1.0 (depending on how it is defined). If there are any other Fits set they should, probably. be reduced down to 0.

I probably have something by the same PA, but for sake of speed here's something I guess is similar in nature (the Paul hair, also a .hr2 prop style hair):

The fit morphs are located under Transform > Elven Fits on the parameters tab and the shaping tab.

Also the morphs for the hair are located at the neck, so you have to be sure to click on the neck for the parameters to fit or shape it.

When I loaded elven hair on my M4 in DS4 it appeared in the middle of his head, but as you cannot conform the hair like a figure you have to manually size it with the right dial. It has different figure fits so select the hair, then click on the neck and the parameters should show up in the parameters window.
