Puppeteer Pose only

Would it be posible for Puppeteer to affect the pose only and shaping only seperatly. I sometimes change the shape a little and it will change it back or worse if I make a change and save it to puppeteer it will change the morph as well. I have noticed that this can cause some problems wit the rigging as well.
