Just started to experiment with multi pass rendering in Poser, works great!

Is anything similar available for DAZ Studio 4.6?

I found 2 products : 'Relight' by Omnifreaker ( http://www.daz3d.com/relight ) and 'Mood Master 2' by Dreamlight ( http://www.daz3d.com/mood-master-2-for-daz-studio-3 )
Did anyone test these in 4.6?

Peter.

Mood Master 2 does not work in any version of DS above 3. It does not work in 4.6.

Unless Relight has been updated recently, it worked reliably in a late version of DS 1 or an early version of DS2. Does the product page list a version number for DS or any other information. Read both tabs on the product page. Sometimes it hides.

LDP-R is the only product I know that does any kind of automatic multi-pass rendering in DAZ Studio 4.5+ for you to then action in Photoshop or GIMP... http://www.daz3d.com/light-dome-pro-r

I'll often do separate passes manually using AoA's atmoshpheric cameras if I'm wanting extra, umm, atmosphere (I guess he named them right, hehehe) and blend render passes in post... http://www.daz3d.com/atmospheric-effects-cameras-for-daz-studio

    Multipass render is scripted

You don't need scripting, plugins or any outside help for multi-pass rendering.
Set up your lights, turn off all but one, render, rinse repeat.

Add two passes with neutral lighting and directional vs. no directional shadows.

Add a depth map pass (either make a shader or use the one provided in Atmospheric Effects Cameras).

Render an SSS pass if necessary.

Load all of the above in Photoshop or photo editor of choice, mix, match and mask according to taste.

How do you do the followings ?

    - Add two passes with neutral lighting and directional vs. no directional shadows.

    - Add a depth map pass (either make a shader or use the one provided in Atmospheric Effects Cameras).

    - Render an SSS pass if necessary.

    thanks
