Installing 'Create 'Fiery Genesis' in DAZ Studio'

edited December 1969 in The Commons

Hi There, First time poster and user of Daz Studio.
I downloaded the 'Create 'Fiery Genesis' in DAZ Studio' as a test install and the Install Manager says it was installed but when I run Daz Studio there is no sign of the content. I watched the video underneath on the product page but it doesn't mention the actual installation only the construction of the scene.
How can I get the content to show up in Daz Studio?

Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Gordon.

When you installed DAZ Studio, did you install the Genesis Starter Essentials as well as install the default lights which are a separate installer?

The actual content used in the tutorial is part of the Genesis Starter Essentials.

Look in the smart content tab under either scenes or tutorials. You should find several ready to render scenes for fiery genesis. Once you have the Genesis Starter Essentials and light installed if you don't already have them installed, click on one of the RTR thumbnails. If everything is installed correctly, the scene will build itself in the view port and when it is done it will be...ready to render.

Yes, the original install went ok. The barefoot dancer is there and the Lights and Genesis male and female but no sign of Firey.

So I tried another free package, Hornet, a little space craft and that downloaded and show up fine.
So I'm more or less confident that if I buy something I'll be able to get it into Daz Studio..

    Thanks.

Have you looked in My Library/Daz Tutorials? That's where all of my daz ones are. Each one has all the components that are needed in the tutorials - which can be found in the lesson strip -Windows/Enable lesson Strip)
