Gia6

Saw a couple sweet characters for Gia 6. Just want to be sure I catch on. Gia6 is for Genesis or Genesis2? Then Gia6 is a base just like V6? And vendors can make characters that are for Gia6 but they wont work on another character. Does Gia6 have advantages over V6 or is it just different? And will the V6 clothes and hair work on Gia6 also?
Thx

Disclaimer: I do not own Gia 6 so I can't answer any questions about the textures.

Gia 6 is an add-on character for Genesis 2 like Victoria 6. There is no real advantage to use Gia over Victoria 6. Gia has her own sculptured face and body. Any clothes made for Genesis 1 or Genesis 2 will work on Gia 6.

Hopefully someone will offer more tips and advice.

Clothes and hair should work on all G2F figures. Character sets may require a particular figure, either because they build off of that shape or because they use that UVset.

Gia does NOT use the base Genesis 2 Female UV set just so you know (she doesn't use V6's either). She has a different one. If you have both, you can use the other's UV on them both though (I think I said that right).

Advantages to using her is that her stuff will (probably) be more geared to muscly fighter type female characters.

Also, the clothes will work on either *in Daz*. If you use DSON Importer in Poser, that's not necessarily the case.

thx, was mostly just curious, don't have either nor intend to get them. Guess am in the minority on this but seems theres a proliferation of figures, too dang expensive to keep up. Maybe when I finish school can make my own. :)

Think of it this way, there is only one female figure, GF2 and then there are quite a few characters based off this mesh, some with specific UV sets such as Gia. GF2 is free with DS, so if you get the morphs for GF2, you can make whatever character you want.
