I can't buy this product?

I'm trying to buy a product but it isn't letting me...
I tried adding it to my cart but I had forgotten to log in. It told me it added it anyway, but then I logged in and it said there was 0 items in my cart.
So I went to add it again and it says


The maximum quantity allowed for purchase is 1.


So I logged back out and my cart was empty again, then back in but I keep getting this message...
What do I do?

    should be able to just add any other item to your cart and it should show up then.

    Then remove the second item you added, if you really only wanted to buy that first one that gave you cart trouble.
