Received an email advising that this item is FREE for a limited period, however, when I go to the page it is NOT free.
Very grateful for any advice.
Thank you.

Free with a purchase of either or on 2 other products. Both products need to be in the cart at the same time.
It is a buy one get one free deal, so you need to have one of the mentioned items in the cart at the same time.
By the way - how long is the deal working? I'd like to wait until it is no longer punchable.
The deal is only for 24 hrs so if wait until its not punchable you will lose out.

I like the 'FREE BEER TOMORROW' sign. It's always right.
I really enjoyed that video. Sometimes the truth can be very entertaining. But to answer the OP's concern, the promo is pretty clear that Hercules is free for 24 hours with the simultaneous purchase of either of Mec4D's other two new items. I've got 'em downloading right now.
that kinda makes him not free though. free with purchase would've been less misleading.
Which is exactly what the Newsletter said. As per the screenshot a few post above yours.

That's what the newsletter said. But that's not what the subject line of the email said.
EDIT: I'm not meaning to sound ungrateful, DAZ is giving away plenty of free stuff this month. But hey, truth in advertising seems to be an oxymoron, and DAZ is no exception.

Yes, but as soon as you open the email it gives you the details very clearly, no fine print. I don't think anything deceptive happened, any "free" email i get, i open it up to see the details.

it made me look, the boy who cried wolf.
rmp is doing something similarly annoying, says coupie inside, then you find out iz only good on new releases, surprise. :shut:
Thank you all for your replies, very much appreciated........:)
Unless you count the word "Free". ;) Sorry, I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, and I'm the same way. Any time I see an ad with the word "free", I start looking for the fine print that says, basically, "*not really free". Like Andy Rooney said, advertisers have ruined the word for everybody.
I purchased these late last night... or rather early this morning.
I purchase them individually to hike up my countdown punches tee hee hee. :D
I didn't even notice the free promotion until afterwards.
);o D'oh!
Oh well, its worth that.
