edit ies profiles

I have edited some ies files on my pc (Only Place ies_gen3 works) to get a profile I like however they don't work on my Mac. Is there away to convert the ies files edited on my PC to a Mac version? I tried to attach a sample but ies files are not allowed.

It appears I am looking at the wrong parameter, its not the platform on which the edit is done but the extent and type of the edit which determines whether it will work in Carrera. I am trying progressive edits on one ies file to see how extensive the edit can be. The original works fine so maybe I get close to what I want!
