Discussion. Relied on Carrara's Multipass rendering feature and Philemo's free GMIC filter plugin. coverage pass, the shadow pass and a GMIC filter black and white.

Discussion. Relied on Carrara's Multipass rendering and the NonPhotorealRender (NPR) render option. This primarily combines two NPR renders of NPR brushes of different densities and the shadow pass.

Title: Jack Kirby Tribute

Discussion: The background is Urban Sprawl rendered in the Carrara Non-Photorealistic render engine. Jack could do amazingly detailed foreground images, but he often left the background sketchy. I wanted a sketchier look.
After loading the background onto a plane, I added the characters, which are Genesis (Hulk), F4 (The Thing), V4, K4, and M3 (the cops). The police car is a Carrara native object. I made the caption, and tweaked a bunch of things in the modeling room.
The Thing texture is all Carrara. Toon 3 was used for outlines, and GMIC (within Carrara) provided some basic image controls.
No postwork.

Discussion: Dan DeCarlo was a creative force for many iconic cartoon and comics franchises. His best known work is probably the teenagers of Riverside, including Archie, Betty, and Veronica. Many will also recognize his work in Josie and the Pussycats. A less known Dan DeCarlo series was the space age teenager Jetta and her friends at Neutron High School. Postwork included Filter Forge.

Discussion I hid the aligator's body in model room and turned off the limits so I coul pose him better, retxextured him a little, stuck him on M4's body after hiding m4 head, retextured m4 hands with aligator texture , used fenrics tree duplicate command to duplicat result
