Hey animators & game developers. Here is a cool tip: Just got a flyer from Amazon Prime saying that streaming Music and ALBUMS are now available to Prime Users free... I searched Royality Free and was happy with the results.

A good tip, thanks. I buy a LOT of stuff at Amazon, but have avoided the Prime thing because I hate to pay a fee for free shipping when I get that anyway ... have to order $35+ and it takes a week or so, but its still free. (The other features of Prime are not as interesting to me.) But this makes me willing to reconsider.

I do like my large collection of royalty free music from Digital Juice, both music and sound FX. In particular, the four Sound FX Libraries I have (about 50,000 sounds) are uniformly keyworded and thus easily searchable. An example:

I really believe that sound is a big part of any movie. Spielberg initially laughed at John Williams music for "Jaws", including the "Shark Theme". (In fairness, Spielberg was 29 years old and had not yet had a hit.) He later said the music was at least half the movie. The "Shark Theme" may be the most recognizable music on the planet. I've heard that even the sharks swim around humming it ... :snake:
