There are plenty of ways you can do lighting in Photoshop. Here are the two that are easiest, imo.

    1. Faking it. Create a new layer and fill it with white. Set the blending mode to soft light. Give this layer a layer mask and fill it with black. Use a soft brush at 0% hardness with a 10% flow. Make sure your layer mask is selected, now paint with white in the areas you want the light to hit. Go over the same area multiple times for brighter areas. Set the brush color to black to remove unwanted light that you've added.

    2. Utilize Photoshop Extended's 3D feature and use it's lighting source. May still want to combine with the method above.

You mean relighting with 3D in Photoshop. I'm also trying to find more info on that subject. It seems like 3D Bridge from DAZ to PS doesn't work with the 64bit version?

    Peter.

It works. You just have to make sure Photoshop, Daz Studio, and the bridge are all 64bit.

Using the bridge with Photoshop CC only works on a Mac atm. I know the Windows version was getting updated, but I'm not sure if it's been rolled out yet.

3D bridge should work equally well with 64 and 32 bit versions. What it doesn't support is PS CC, at least on Windows.

I just meant you couldn't mix/match, and since he was asking specifically about 64bit, that's the example I used.
