Can Prince Albane be used on G2M in DS?
You'd need all of these to get Albane onto G2M:
http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x2 (to transfer the morph)
http://www.daz3d.com/genx2-addon-for-genesis-2 (to transfer the morph to G2M)
http://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-for-genesis-2-male (to use M4 UVs on G2M)
http://d3d.sesseler.de/index.php?software=dazscript&product=gen4g2mat (*free* - to get a copy of the mats with G2 material zone names)

I use just the textures and mats regularly, using the M4 for G2M set and Draagonstorm's Michael Skins Auto Converter. It's here:

Doesn’t that only do one mat at a time and require duf conversion first? G2 can use non-duf mats as long as the material zone names are changed in the file.

It does one mat at a time, but it does not require duf conversion. It works on .dsas and .pz2s, so it's a two-click process - click the script custom action, then click the mat icon, done. I'd love to have the freebie if it can batch-convert an entire folder, though. Does it do that? The page doesn't say.
Yes. D3D's batch converts an entire folder and creates a copy prepended with G2_ in the same folder, and retains the file type (G2 figures can take non-duf mats once the material zone names are changed in the file). No figure needs to be loaded for it to work. A DS script and Poser Python version are both included. It doesn't do subfolders, however, but I'd rather do 4 folders than 40 mats. lol
I got sent to my account page when I tried to post this earlier.
So this utliity does batch and still retain the originals so that I can still use the textures on M4 or V4. Would this utliity work on the Genesis 1 sets assuming I have the matching uv set for Genesis 2.
It will only work on Genesis 1 skins if it uses one of the Gen4 UVs, but you still need the V4/M4 for G2F/G2M for the UVs, but most Genesis 1 skins are in DUF so DS will load them properly already. This is primarily for non-DUF skins.
Okay thank you.
