Hello!

I have the GIS Biosuit ( http://www.daz3d.com/gis-biosuit ). I like it very much, but unfortunately it has no shoes included. I have tried all shoes from my library but there is no pair that looks good along with the suit.

Can anyone recommend a pair of shoes that looks good with the suit and matches the style and look?

What figure are you using it with?

Oh, sorry for not mentioning this. I have forgotten that the suit is useable for different figures. I use it on G2F only!

Right now I did a gallery search to see what other people did with the suit and discovered this image: http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/16204/
Here the artist says (in the description) that he extended the material over the characters feet. The result looks really good, but I have no idea how to do that. Does anyone know how that is done?

The biosuit I think was just a second skin (I haven't bought it yet). You might need to edit a copy of the maps that cover the feet. It looks like he also took the shoes from http://www.daz3d.com/summer-clothes-for-genesis-male and created maps for those as well using portions of the mats from the suit.

It's basically a hack job to create new maps in something like Photoshop/Gimp.

Ok, thanks for the explanation. That sounds a bit time consuming and complicated to me :-) So maybe finding a matching pair of shoes would be easier.
And yes, the suit is a second skin, so there is no geometry. Just maps that are applied on G2F.

3D Wizard's Treadz always worked well

Thanks for that suggestion. These are really cool boots! :-)

But since they were made for Genesis and I use G2F, do they work well with G2F and AutoFit? Shoes seem to be a problem for AutoFit many times, so I better ask before I buy.

I just dragged and dropped them onto the G2F figure from the library. Autofollow seems to take care of things.

Thank you for testing. Ok, then I think I will give them a try.

Trekkers might work well with the outfit

a sock morph or shoe morph would be a great idea though for many uses not just this outfit
esp with layered image editor clothing or for low poly crowd extras

I used the Captain Runner boots on Genesis in this image.

Converted using the process I outlined here (There are variations, as this is for the Cyberpunk boots).
