Crimped Hair?

Does anyone know where to get 80's crimped hair like Madonna, Robert Smith of The Cure and various other 80's pop stars had their hair for M4/V4, Genesis and G2?

To be honest, while I do not know what people you're talking about, I searched for "crimped hair" in Google and I think I have something for you!

Thanks! This is the kind of hair I'm looking for. It's almost what I need except the style. I'm not sure if it can be worn shorter in a more back-combed or wild style? Some images of the style I'm trying to create:

The last one is a bit too neat but it shows the crimping more. Hair crimping:

In the early 80's everyone went crimping mad. I think even Michael Bolton (who?) sported a crimp for awhile. Hair metal was famous for crimptastic uber hair. Trench coats, padded shoulders, jumpsuits and colourful string vests needed big hair - and that was just the guys! Women took it to a whole different level!

I haven't had the chance to play with it yet, but it is from Mairy/3Dream duet, they always put in lots of morphs. You could buy it, check if it has what you need and return if it doesn't.
I'd also recommend checking their shops at Rendo. Some hairstyles are only available there, I think Asteria Hair could work. Or Lethe. Or basically the majority of their hairstyles. They have dozens of morphs that change the style entirely. Maybe Music Diva?
And for rebellious hairstyles for men and women, go to SAV at Rendo as well. I think Alpha Hair and Alpha Moikana would interest you.
PS For trench coats, Sickleyield has a free one with several texture packs and it is fantastic, you may want it.
April has this one

Yes, but it is for Generation 3 females, so you would have to autofit it, which may result in losing additional bones, who knows. Mairy/3Dream, on another hand, have Genesis and Generation 4 versions in most of their hairstyles.
Have you looked at some of the hairs by Swam http://www.daz3d.com/daz-victoria-4-sale/georgina-hair and others
whilst not quite as messy, they do have potential.

I've found out that you seldom need to autofit hair. Load them into the scene without fitting them to a character and then pose them on the head like a prop and then attach them to the head. Might need some tweaking, but you still have the bones there :-)

That's another way. It depends on the model and your particular needs, but both are worth getting used to :).
Thanks everyone for your help. I eventually found something close to what I need at another content provider. Hopefully if DAZ or a PA reads this they may decide to make something like this in the future or a way to wave/frizz straight hair. Shader or material presets might add that look to hair styles that exist already? I don't have the know how to do this myself unfortunately.
I was enlightened! Check Mairy's freebies (Rendo or ShareCG), there are several frizzed hairstyles!
