Question for Old timers: Which Aiko figure predates Aiko 3?

If Aiko 3 is the first Aiko by Daz, then why is she called "3" and not "1" or "0"? If she is not the first, why can nothing be found about her predecessors? It's all a conspiracy, I tell you! ;-)

The original Aiko was a morph for the original Stephanie. Aiko 3 was a third-generation figure, with the same mesh as Victoria 3, so even though she was the second version of Aiko she's called Aiko 3.

big secret: if you look in the Runtime/Geometries folder under Xena, you'll see that the folder for the clothes she created for Aiko 3 is actually called Aiko2

Character numbers pertain to the the overall generation base figures they are for or a part of. All gen 3 characters state 3 in the name so we know they are gen 3 characters even if they did not excist in the gen2 or gen1 line. The same goes for the new generation 6 characters such as Olympia and Gianni. Why there was no previous version of either it would be confusing to some if they were named according to which version of that character it is.

Here's the doc page for the original Aiko. http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/674/start

She's been vaulted for a couple of years now like most of the Gen 1 figure product, but every so often DAZ will un-retire her for a special sale. Interestingly, I think she actually looks a good bit more like the current Aiko 6 than any of the other Aikos.
