I've watched your vid on adding metadata which is great by the way but what I was wondering is there a user guide or chart for using the root catagories table is quite large and I often find that I could apply certain products to at least 2 or more root catagories . I'm just muddling through this but I absolutely enjoy this procedure. simply curious. Thank you for your time.

I am not aware of any reference for the "proper" place to put things, if I am understanding your question correctly. There are commonalities that most PAs try to use to stay consistent, and often if we submit a product with an item in the wrong place, DAZ will move it for us. I am assuming you are assigning metadata to an older product and that it is for your own personal organization system, so there really is no rule as to what category you put something into. And it never hurts to have something in multiple categories. In fact, I honestly move everything I install into categories that make more sense to me. For example, a pair of boots is usually categorized under Footwear, but I created a Boots category, as well as a Shoes category and I split them up. It takes a good while to get things set up,the way you want, but after that it's just making sure new purchases are categorized right away before they pile up on you.

Again, I'm not totally clear on your question, so I hope I was able to help you out. If not, give me a more specific example and maybe I can come up with something better. :)
