Moon surface or moon prop?

I remember getting Moon 360 a while back, but for some reason it causes lag.
I am wondering if there is any moon images for a SkyDome, or a 3D moon surface or 3D moon prop I could purchase, or get as a freebie?

A little cartoony but, https://www.daz3d.com/toon-rocket-and-moonscape
Or more serious, https://www.daz3d.com/moonscapes
I've seen up to 16k textures on the NASA sites.
Since the moon is, effectively, already greyscale, I wonder how moon images would work as bump/displacement maps.
I hope it's ok to share this link: https://www.3dart.it/download-moon-texture-nasa/
Dead link
Didn't find a Moon surface prop.
Obj, good for background & midground shots

DazStudio prop, full Moon for distance shots

Found another free source, but only diffuse textures (2k and 8k): https://www.solarsystemscope.com/textures/. Tried the 2k Mercury here: Primitive sphere 200sides/segments at base rez. Made a roughnessmap and displacementmap copy in LIE. For the displacementmap I just inverted the diffusetexture and set gamma to 1. Adjusted min max and strength values a bit and rendered (with 3Delight). I'm sure it works with IRay but you probably need to fiddle with SubD settings, or start from a denser mesh.
Check out the moon texture in the link above, looks pretty cool:)
Another source, many downloads also including bump/normal/specular maps; the Celestia Motherlode for the Celestia space simulator program. Click on the side menu and you'll find maps for lots of fictional planets — Star Trek, Star Wars, the Orion's Arm shared universe, among others. And lots of spaceship models; some are in the Celestia CMOD mesh format and can't be converted, but a lot are in 3DS format.
For some reason that link refuses to load. Taking off the numbers, it goes to some website page, not NASA.
Tks! Not working for me either, yesterday it worked fine so not sure what happened:( I'll try to dig them up via NASAs site, sorry about that!
I downloaded the 16k moon textures months ago from that link, here is a testrender I made, I didn't get the displacement values quite right though.
I edited the link, is this working? https://www.3dart.it/download-moon-texture-nasa/
Edit: Forget it, DL link is dead, obviously:(
Tks!
Alberto created very nice planets and satellites, perhaps one of those can be good for you.

Yes thank you, that page was loading, further down on it is the working link for The Celestia Motherlode.
And for those concerned about the mentioned sizes in the hundreds of M, those are collections of many smaller sized images.
Looks like I'll be lost in space for a while:) Tested the 8k Mercury texture from https://www.solarsystemscope.com/textures/
Nice :-)
If you need something for the actual surface, for say a lunar landing or lunar colony, I like this one:
https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/lunar-surface/125412
NASA has some free recreations of some of the landing sites at the link below, as well as a bunch of space hardware and other models, in various formats:
https://nasa3d.arc.nasa.gov/models
I'm not seeing the full globe of the moon there (wasn't it there before?), but some interesting asteroids are featured...
Be mindful of NASA's Usage Guidelines:
https://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/guidelines/index.html
Others have made some good suggestions already r.e. the Lunar Globe. There's some moon .objs out there at say free3d and such. Some are free, others are not...
They've also converted a lot of them to .stl format for 3D printing, and it's not always obvious which ones until after downloading the file.
