saw the tut DUDU 000001 did called "Destruction M3" but I'm missing something. I can get objects to disappear in an On/Off fashion using "Visible" but I'm missing a step to make the fade. Anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

I work on the alpha channel in the shader, from 100% to 0%...

As DUDU says, you can use a numeric slider in the shader's alpha channel. It can be keyframed.

What they're saying is that DUDU was not using the "Visible" check box. Items that have several shader domains will require than you slide down (0 = Off) the Alpha channel for each shader at the same time - or you can offset the timing if that works better for the model in question.
