  • Herschel Hoffmeyer, what about sci-fi exosuit? It is one of the most anticipated things c:

  • I know Daz is wanting a Space Marine style exo-suit in the store as well. One of the artist that works with them has contacted me about doing a collab project like this. I know it is highly needed since none exist, no true ones at least. I am very tied up at the moment though with many other projects. I'm currently developing a board game, based in a prehistoric fantasy world and I need a ton of art assets. All of these art assets I'm bringing to the Daz store as well. I will be returning to the sci-fy scene in the future and an exo-suit will be at the top of the list, probably even multiple kinds.

  • Thanks for the answer!
The prehistoric theme is also very interesting.
The news that there will be multiple kinds suits is very encouraging!
I will wait с: Your work is always of amazing quality!

So is the Queen of Darkness Expansion up for release soon? I'm definitely looking forward to it. I noticed it's no longer referenced on your artstation except for your blog mentioning its release, so I hope that still goes as planned?

Herschel have you submitted any new products to Daz? I am always eager to throw money your way.

I know alot of people cant wait to see more Mystique 2 expansion packs, are you plan to do that?

  • DripDrip Posts: 1,191

Yes, it's there! I was really getting worried this expansion was canceled or turned down.

Does anyone know if this is 8.1 compatible? Seems stange that a brand new Daz Original which is today's top promotion doesn't say it works with 8.1 but then if it does, why not say so?

I'm getting an offer to complete the collection and I only have Mystique 1, so I don't really want to risk buying all three of the Mystique 2 items only to find that the shoes don't fit an 8.1!

I raised a ticket but I'm not sure the support team can respond in time for someone in the UK to take advantage of my "complete your collection offer.

    Thanks everyone :)

8 and 8.1 are the same in terms of clothing, so yes, this will absolutely work on 8.1

I haven't rendered anything with it yet, but I had my G8.1 female character loaded up with the whole outfit on last night, just so you know I'm not merely speculating, I've actually done it.

    Brilliant, thanks so much!

In my cart the moment I saw it. I already have the rest of the collection.

Now if he can back to making some military gear ...

Herschel, if you're still looking for suggestings for add-ons or additional items for the Mystique line, I have a few suggestions, though I'm not sure how easy they'd be.

I'd be happy to provide them if you're still open - if not, well, I'll keep them to myself and wait to see what you've got in the works. :)

(The new QoD add-on is GREAT, btw)

Looking forward to buy many more add-ons for Mystique lingerie. I use it in many promo renders for my products on Renderhub. Back in the days of V4 we have tons of lingerie products.

  • I appreciate all the support! I've been quiet for a bit but still heavily working on new content. I have a lot more coming including my very first female character for Genesis 8.1. Also at same time of release I will be releasing an brand new outfit. A small portion of the outfit is used in the promo teased below. Much more in the works as well.

Also I remember someone wanting tats so I made some as an option for ths character.

Closer to release I will create a new forum post for character and new outfit.

  • I'm looking forward to the character! Hopefully before the year is out.

  • Really nice looking character and looking forward to seeing how the new outfit looks too!

Wow, nice one. Maybe a little too much to fill a blouse... but that's personal taste.

The character is already on its way through PASS so it will certainly arrive before the end of the year.

Are those tats LIE presets, or materials?

Exactly the question I was about to ask. :D

But I love the well filled character. Since it doesn't look like Daz is going to add a Lilith 8(.1) to the lineup, I think this character would be a more than perfect alternative.

Since this is a character product they are built into the character's textures. No tattoos is a skin option as well.

I was really, really waiting for more sci-fi.military. After seeing this character I am willing to wait a little longer.

Perfect. LIE based tattoos often look too artificial. Like kids "tattoos" that go on the skin with a bit of water, and rub off with a drop of oil. Real tattoos are IN the skin, not on top. I am not really sure if that CAN be achived with LIE. A skin texture with a tattoo IN the skin is an instant buy for me

I agree 100% and most tattoo products look very fake to me like you said because they're to crisp and vibrant. I actually had the person at Daz testing my character ask me if the non-crisp details of the tattoos were intended as they are not use to seeing that. I blur the edges to give a "bleed" effect, gave the blacks a blue'ish tint, did some desaturation, and so on.

    Here's a close up:

I will quinch your thirst soon enough. Good things come to those that wait. wink

    Nice!

I don't mind LIE tattoos, but as you guys have said, they don't look REAL - especially in any sort of a closeup.

These look amazing, as does the character. Very much looking forward to seeing her in the shop!
