Hi guys, is there a way to pose a cape to simulate wind hitting it? or more general,
a way to pose clothing to make it look more wavy and natural?

Thanks

Jorge

Poser, DAZ Studio or something else? There isn't really a general answer - some items will have morphs to reshape the mesh, some will have body handles to pose it, some will have both, there are dynamic cloaks which you can influence with wind forces, and there are magnets/DForms you can use - and that's just within an application, if you are prepared to export and manipulate in an external modeller there are other tools available.

Thanks Richard, sorry, I didn't specify, I'm trying on DAZ Studio. From your answer I understand it is item-specific, depending
if the item has that functionality, there is no such feature to simulate cloth built-in DAZ Studio

Unless it's specifically a dynamic cloak from Opti-Tex (who makes all the dynamic DS content), you're left with morphs and d-formers only in DS. Poser has the cloth room and wind forces, which does exactly what you asked about, but DS dynamic outfits must be custom-created for the Studio dynamics plugin. Having said that, many of the cloaks available for purchase have very good "billow" and "wind" morphs. There are also several dynamic cloaks for the DS plugin, for example: http://www.daz3d.com/controllable-dynamic-cloak-for-daz-studio , http://www.daz3d.com/cardinal-cloak .
