Flash ad on front page says 60% off, links to store at 50% off.

Isn't it amazing how they STILL keep getting this wrong?

Items in cart, waiting until prices are fixed to purchase. Will it likely be after 8am Daz time before it's fixed? If so, there's time to nap!

Same here. It's late afternoon here, this is when hte new releases or new sales always go live at DAZ (for me). Every single time there is a price glitch. Every single time. I don't get why new releases and new sales don't go live when the office opens and people are there.

Well - if those shortlived Flash sales were only in Daz office hours, I would be very unhappy.

with the Flash Sales, yes, I would be too. But it's the new releases and OTHER sales that bug me with the price glitches.

At this point, I'm afraid to purchase anything. I see that Throne's store has incorrect pricing, and I believe Muscleman's does for PC items. So if I know about those two, how many others could there be that I haven't noticed? If I go to bed now though, the flash sale might be over before I wake up. ARGH! Frustrating!

If the pricing is indeed incorrect, rest assured it will be fixed and relaunched/extended :)

yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees but.....will the extension go over the time I spend sleeping tonight? When I wake up in the morning, will the extension have finished?

I don't know tbh, it's all down to the in-house team.

Y'all are being too hard on DAZ. They did manage to get Thorn's "Emiko for A4 and A5" marked down 60%.

Another thread is covering this also in the members forum I posted to but I am looking for clarirication on this sale, is it 50% or 60% and does the 30% PC+ apply for the items where Mada is also a PA?

I just wonder why they don't TEST that the pricings are correct BEFORE they launch it. That is the normal procedure after all!

Banner changed to 50%. So much for honouring what's advertised.

To me the issue is not so much about honoring an advertised price, as mistakes do happen. Rather, the issue lies with the fact that this is a constant, repeating problem with the DAZ store, and that's it's a problem that SHOULD be completely avoidable.

It's one thing if the price was supposed to be 60% off and the data for the store was entered on the fly incorrectly. However, if the Price was ALWAYS intended to be 50% off, then the problem is the simple result of nobody proofing the ad before it was sent live. And given how often this and similar "dumb" problems are now occurring within the store, the fact that the ads are still being set to go off at times when there's no one there to fix them seems to indicate that either the people running the store are completely unable to comprehend the basic laws of basic cause and effect, or that nobody there actually cares.

Seriously, this is an INTERNET store guys. No one has to come into an office to make changes to a store, it can be done 24 hours a day, from anywhere with internet access, by someone who's been properly set up. The ongoing line of "we have to wait until someone comes into the office" passed ridiculous a long time ago given that DAZ has new sets of ads and pricing kicking in at Midnight, Provo-time, almost every single night of the year, and how often there are major bug-a-boos caused by really simple errors. If you can't have someone work on a schedule that lines up with your timing, then maybe the timing needs to be changed to work with the schedules of the people who're there.

Lol... I just realized I was complaining about a half-off sale (with bonus perks for the PC-pro thing). Ironically, if the original banner had been correct, I'd have been happy with the 50%! Ah, the psychology of spending!

...seemed fine for me last night. Never caught the "60%" reference.

Heck this could get two of the merchant resource morph kits off my wishlist. Maybe I should go PC+ and get that 6$ off coupie for an 18$ purchase (have to find one more small item to make up the difference).

You could always add a $1.99 PC item... oh wait.

...well it would be the Fairy Poses, as I do a lot of fae scenes and that would be something like 2.30$ since it is a new PC release so that would do it.

Have to find something to use my current PC coupie on though first so I don't lose it. Too bad Gieslle or Steph6 are not on sale. Maybe I'll get a couple of the V4/M4 summer sale DO items as I can always transfer those via Gen-X2.

Agreed! Because of my husband's work schedule, I'm generally awake when the sales switch over and check them out right away. I'm scared to purchase anything though, it's almost like a first release of a new generation of a certain fruity smartphone, you have to wait what seems like forever to ensure all the bugs are out. I'd feel a lot better about spending my money in the store if Daz took the time to address this problem directly, instead of just glossing over it and allowing it to happen again the next night.

Well - consider me ticked off ... I ticked the "remove" button.
    Saves me money.
I would have liked the 50% - if they had been advertised as such.
My opinion of these blunders is unprintable ...
