The Site announcements say that if you miss a sale because of something like this, then simply inform sales support and they'll take care of it for you.

At a guess you weren't as logged in as you thought you were!

At least some of the forum problems people have been seeing have been because their sessions have timed out and logged them out, without there being any clear indication, it's possible the same issue could affect store sessions in certain circumstances.

If you're having any sort of problem with the site (in fact with any site requiring a login), always log out and then log in again, I've even seen circumstances in other places where it was necessary to do it twice to totally clear your status and allow a clean log in.

I was very sure, i was logged in.
i just logged in, and go directly to the store to order the item.
and notice the problem. after re-login i could order it.
my problem is solved, i just reported it here again.

Haven't checked the store for weeks because of the problems. Today I logged in, navigated and got logged out, I logged in, navigated and got logged out, I logged in, navigated and got logged out, I logged in, navigated and got logged out, I logged in, navigated and got logged out. After about the ninth time of loggin in to make a purchase I gave up and found this thread. I certainly know how frustrating it can be. I hope it gets fixed but until then I'll check the site every once in a while.

TRy the logout login dance. Logout on a page where you are logged in, and once it is confirmed that you are truly logged out, then log in again.
