Slight problem I recently bought the Reby Sky for victoria 4 and I had read the special install instructions about her but that was a while ago and forgot and loaded her manually and of coarse v4 stopped working. so manually uninstalled Reby still no joy so uninstalled V4 and put her back but the base would not install through the DIM so I am going to attempt a manual with that but not getting a warm fuzzy about it . Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks any and all for their time.

What happened exactly when you tried to install V4 using DIM?

    Hello

Also I have problems with V4 before I was working in a computer with windows 7 but now I switch one with windows 8, But I don't think that make any difference, when I try to load seas Victoria support folder could not be found.

    Any ideas

    Thanks

First you need the Proper Paths set up in the DAZ Studio Content Directory Manager... The content folder must be mapped as Both a DAZ Studio Format and a Poser format Folder.
Second the V4 and all its files like Morphs++ must all be installed to the same content folder for they will not link to the figure...

How is your content folder mapped? This is a Default DAZ Studio path set up for both the Default content folders. The one DAZ Studio creates on install and the one the DIM creates on default use of it.

Thank you Jaderail and I left you a gift in Art Studio. Feel like a dunce here maybe the heat from repairing a busted roof but I can't remeber how to pull up the CDM to get you that pic. Boy so tired lol
Poping back out for an hour so I;ll check back tonite again just in case . I took Reby Sky completely out but no morphs are connecting with V4 or M4 which I took out and reinstalled but I'm sure we'll figure it out . Cheers

Could you show me your DIM installation page please just a hunch but it may be it.
Before the V4 problem I had quite a few downloads go only to content library through the DIM and some were fairly new so the paths may be wrong but just want to confirm. One didn't show at all Cliffhanger I believe it's called . Thanks again for your time.

Not all files are DIM ready, if a product does not show up in the DIM you should check in your My Account in the Products Library for that product. Some still come as exe only. The old store content is a huge collection, and the conversions are still happening as far as I know.

A Snapshot of my DIM is useless to another user. I have mine fully custom configured for my Content folder which is not even close to a standard set up any other user would need. Anything I post for Default user paths I took snapshots of before I re-did the DIM to my personal use.

I understand and I too have done a little customizing myself. I am however really having a memory blank on how to pull up the Content Manager Directory. I've been there before but I'm just having this silly block in my head . Although last night I did load in new stuff and it went to where it was supposed to . As with V4 and M4 I bought the pro suites for both and I'm thinking remove my exsisting V4 and M4 with their morphs installing the huge suites and add my morph packs later. What do think good idea ? Anyway huge giant storms heading my way so I have to power down will chat with you later and thank you once again I do appreciate our communication.

There are two (at least) routes to the Content Directory Manager - from the Content Library option menu (right-click the tab, or click the menu button in the top corner) and from Edit>Preferences>Content Library .
