I bought the "dynamic sheets" but cannot get them to load up. Is it a problem with the file or am I

The "dynamic sheets" didn't have any information on the display page to tell me about how they are to be used, in fact, there wasn't much of anything at all on the page. but from what I can tell it is a dsb file and I have no clue if I am applying it wrong or not. The content comes up as a prop with materials to change the appearance, but when I try to load the prop, the load info flashes by, but nothing comes up on the screen. Anyone know what need to do to fix this?

Just checking if you meant Jepe's Shiny Sheetz http://www.daz3d.com/shiny-sheetz-michael-6-and-gianni-6 (which aren't really dynamic but a static prop) and works in both Poser and Daz (file type pz3 dand .daz) or Dynamic Sheets http://www.daz3d.com/dynamic-sheets (which are Daz3d only) and the format of .daz but are true dynamic sheets. My guess is that you had an errant download and didm' get the pieces you expected.

Don't have that one. Loaded one I do have ... the other one should be in a folder similar to this one.

It's not the "shiny sheets" although I have thought of buying them. My renders are set in a fantasy medieval world and they don't quite fit the time period. LOL I have un-installed and reinstalled them, but it has made no difference. It says they are made to be used with the dynamic cloth engine thingy, which I have but have not used it before, so maybe I need to take a look at that and see if there is something I need to do there first.

check if the inbuilt Dynamic cloth window opens and if the cloth shows in it loaded
I had an issue where it would not because a dll from another build of studio would not uninstall
none of my cloth would load in scene
to fix that had to uninstall Daz studio, manually delete the dll from plugins then reinstall, no idea why it happened
I have the advanced plugin but neither worked even if I left that uninstalled due to that rogue dll

Well I deleted it from my computer and re-installed it. I can get it to load now, but I can't shape it... any ideas? The collider thingy has "everything" checked on it, but it remains flat.

is are you running a drape or an animated drape?
for the latter you need frame numbers set
cloth must either be selected or all cloth in scene chosen in the drape window

Just single panes for the time being. I don't know if I'll be using Daz for animations or not, since I just bought Pozer pro and still need to learn how to use the thing. I'm just doing renders to go along with some stories right now.
