Hair question

What determines whether a hair prop is "Static" or not? I bought a couple hair designs and one shows up under Hair/Static and the other just under "Hair". I like the one under static as it makes it easier to export by itself and want to buy more but don't know how to tell the difference. I bought Bechet Braids and Classic Rolled Hair. Bechet Braids shows up under static.
Thanks,
TS

think static means is just a prop
no morphs and certainly not conformed, you just plop it on the head
warning as I know you use iClone, parented props do not FBX export in place need to be done seperate and attached to head in iClone.

    Hi Wendy,
I already exported the static one, then decimated it, then imported into iClone as a prop, and it works fine. I was using it on a V4 so it looks like a good fit too. I am just wondering how to buy more of the "prop" or "static" type as those are easier to use I think.
    Thanks,
    TS

edit: They are both easy to use...just had a noob moment earlier trying to remove the figure before export when all I had to do was load the hair. I even tried flipping a bunch of switches but it insisted on exporting the figure with the hair. Oh well, learning as I go. :)
