Look at May Hair FREE Version intall Studio 4.6 x 64bit - Cannot get it to work at all!

I installed the free Look at my hair today hoping to try out this version before I consider buying the latest but after the install although I can open the window for it I cannot get any action from this at all.
I loaded several figures with hair and fur but the softeware seems to want presents that are not included and I have no clue where to find LAMH presents after much searching.
Am I missing something here, is there another part to this plugin to make it work or am i just missing plugins? I am unable to find any documentation and after watching a Youtube tutorial it looks so easy to use.

What hair are you using? It isn't a tool to change the behaviour or appearance of modelled hair, it's purely for working with its own strand-based hair (which is what the presets are for setting up). There are a number of free presets on the LaMH site with which you can use it.

I also have the same problem and was told by daz to contact the vendor directly. Just haven't had the time to do so. I just get presets that come with the products I buy. But no lamh pane. Also if I try to resize an animal I get a big fur ball of a critter. Many problems. The default renders are the only ones that seem to work. I was thinking of buying the new armored cats I wonder if lamh will work with them.

The Armored cat does not show Furred versions because the Fur will poke through the Armor. You noticed no new LAMH presets came with the set did you not?

As for Scaling a furred version of any of the LAMH content, this needs done SLOWLY after the LAMH preset is applied as the Presets need to match the figure 100% at load time.

Just to be clear on what the player is to provide. I have copied the description for the player. I do not get the elegant pane they talk of. So I do not know what I'm missing out on. I only get to use the lamh presets that come with the products I buy. The player says I should be able to modify color and shader properties, hair count, thickness and 3D renderings! And of course they have featured a brand new "Human Hair Shader," which will add a higher degree of realism to your human figures. Try it out for yourself and see the difference! Hhmmm! Maybe I need new glasses. Also I believe I saw a photo on the gallery with the cat armor and fur on the cat.

    Description
The Look at my Hair Player has finally arrived and guess what ... it's FREE!

Through a useful and elegant pane, integrated in the DAZ Studio interface, the Look at my Hair Player allows you to load most pre-made Look at my Hair presets or .duf scenes, modify color and shader properties, hair count, thickness and 3D renderings!

Further material editing can be done directly from the DAZ Studio Surface Pane, and you may even create and apply your own shader materials to each LAMH asset.

The player is a nifty application that will even synchronize and adapt hair styles to each model pose, shape or transformation.

Another cool feature is the ability to export to textured OBJ as well (Lux/Reality, Vue, OctaneRender). And of course we have featured a brand new "Human Hair Shader," which will add a higher degree of realism to your human figures. Try it out for yourself and see the difference!

And if you need more control and you want to be the barber and play with all the tools and features, please consider the full version: www.daz3d.com/look-at-my-hair/.
