Better medieval clothes

OK dont flame me!!! 

Now someone will almost certainly say "Hah! have you not seen this product on the DAZ site" and i will say oh brilliant but i will also counter with I could not find it as a lot of products are let down by descriptions / keywords that omit what they are or could be used for and the search well i am not a fan sorry guys I love using Daz and boy i have spent a lot (well to me its a lot if my wife finds out i am dead...) but the search misses stuff anyway

What i would like to see is medieval dresses in the style of say a waterhouse painting or your basic larp for example like below which i realise are basicaly long sleeve flowy maxi dresses but you will notice they are not low cut a little off shoulder is ok and also a decent girdle belt the maiden fair dress for V4 is the best match but i dont have the clothing convertor for it yet (refer back to my wife finding out...)  and also notice no huge sleeves required.

OK Dforce is your friend here and the free clones Catherine made

You only need to get maiden faire or any other outfit to fit over your target figure don't worry about rigging

then add a Dforce modifier

I have that one too :) the sleves and the belt kept snagging on the sword and were too visualy complex so ended up removing them to simplyfy the look but i really like the sleeve detail on it

You didn't know that there were clones??!! - link is in my siggie ;-)

Which is better to use is a matter of preferences. My auto-fit clones deal with the "A" and "T" differences between the figures - all the user has to do is select the appropriate clone when autofitting the item. If all goes well enough, save the clothing to different folders [so they don't overwrite the original files] and to the closet for the target figure.

You should also check out Moyra's store at Renderosity.  She's done some nice texture sets that might suit you.  Oh, and Outoftouch has been making a lot of clothes along these lines at Renderosity, too.
