Are any of the old tutorials from the old website around, Did anyone save them?

Thanks, but The first one didn't work and the second one won't display the pics which show the settings for each step.

    Unusable.

Have a look for DAZ Wishlist and Item detail page improvements This makes the old forum usable, transfers old links to new and puts the images back :) works with Chrome and Firefox.

Could you be a little more specific as to where to go, and how to do it? I have Firefox.

    Sorry.

Its hard to believe that Daz, knowing the program has no documentation, virtually obliterated the countless tutorials and links that used to be here. Unbelievable.

They're all there on the forums. Use Google to search them by googling for:

    site:forum.daz3d.com {search phrase}

If you're not running the user script below, then replace 'forum' in the URL bar with 'forumarchive' when Google lands you on the page. If you have a link to an old forum discussion or tutorial from the old forums, that'll work fine with the FF and Chrome plugin in my signature.

I just couldn't find the tutorial the OP was asking for; if you recall it, and remember some key phrases (just like you had to remember them when searching using the old forums) you might have better luck.

Thank you for that. I couldn't believe they would just destroy all that info. Your instructions worked fine - thank you.

I did all that and I couldn't find the tutorial in question. The tutorial I looked at had links to .jpegs (which was different from the last time), but when I clicked on the links it went to a 404 page.

I appreciate the help, but I think a new set of tutorial pages are called for.

Does that work for the missing pictures of the tutorials at http://docs.daz3d.com/ too?
In that case I am getting interested ...

That link went to this page:

    http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/artzone/start

On that page there was a link that just went to the new DAZ home page.

I think it only works for the old forum, most of the tuts I think have been transferred to the new documentation centre at http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php and the new temporary artzone wiki is here - http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/artzone/start

Yes - and those are the ones missing pictures ...
    Not very helpful ...

I'm looking for documentation on the shader mixer, and much of what I find I can't get to.

IMO, this wasn't thought out well at all. It seems they threw out information for cosmetics. Makes the program less useful to me.

Yea, its not like you can consult the manual. I can't believe they did this for a pretty forum.

:red: sorry, I now seem to be really short tempered when i'm on this site, maybe I should stay away till its fixed, but yes, the store and forums are really (trying to keep it child friendly cause no tags yet) annoying me greatly, is the politest way of putting it, I mean its been OVER TWO MONTHS NOW!
