Converting M3-4/V3-4 poses to Genesis and Genesis 2

I have so many Michael 3-4 and Victoria 3-4 poses. Is there any way that I can use them or convert them for use with the Genesis and Genesis 2 figures? If this is not possible, when can I expect to see poses for "family life"/everyday life, law enforcement poses, medical poses, and military poses for Genesis and Genesis 2?

Thanks!

Debbie

Since they are completely different figures, with different bones, it is no simple matter in most cases

There used to be a product here called PosrMaster by Cridgit which transferred poses between V4/M4 and Genesis, but that is no longer sold here. You could google it to find where it is being sold now. That is the only package I ever remember.

Have you tried just applying the poses and seeing how bad they are? I often use M4 poses with Handy Dandy (sold here) to fix the hands and feet. Recently I have been doing that with Knights in Satin M4 poses (not sold here) checking them to fix problems and then saving them as Genesis or G2M poses for future.

There's a script somwhere in the Freepository to fix Genesis Hands and feet too.

I very, very rarely use poses "out of the box" since they're usually designed with a single morph in use (or the unmorphed figure) and I'm always mixing and matching morphs at different strengths, so having to pause and tweak or fix poses made for one figure to use them on another doesn't bother me much. 75% - 95% (haven't actually counted) of the bones in most bipedal figures are roughly the same and are also named the same.

I have a lot of V4 poses too and have found that pretty much all of them work reasonably well with Genesis and Genesis 2 Female.. Though I do have the shape files for them as well (not sure whether that makes any difference not really sure) but in all they do work well and all that is really needed is just some readjusting of the figures as they are not 100% perfect but they do give me a base to work from..
