Hi everyone. I use daz for a while now and I already got used to options.
Gonna get to the point

My problem is that when I type in the "search" a word for exemple "Michael 5" or any word at all , it won't find anything . Even if I own Michael 5 or the object that Im searching for, it won't find it all.
Ofcourse if I go to the directory People>Genesis>Characters , I have everything right there .

So with another words the "search" command won't find anything for me ...I got no ideea why...
I had this problem for a while now but I didnt dared to ask as I thought it will get solved.

Please someone help me up.
If you need screenshots or anything to help you aid me with this problem let me know

Did you install the latest version of DAZ Studio, and did you also install PostgreSQL with it?

If you didn't install PostgreSQL, then you will still be using CMS, and it MUST be running as a process for the search function to work. Check in the Task Manager to see if there is a process called Content Management Service running. If not, you will need to try to start it from the Start Menu > All Programs > DAZ 3D.

If CMS is not running, then you wont have any Products and Categories as well?

I can tell from your screenshot that the CMS is NOT running

Did you look in Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D, and look for Content Management Service to start it from there?

I searched for that and i pressed on it and started it.
However the search it still doesn't work... does it has anything to do with the fact that the file as it's seen in the screenshot it's not executable with a program? I mean i pressed on it and it oepened just fine but the search still don't work in daz, it doesnt find anything

T_T I don't know what to do to make it work... :'((

When you click on 'Start DAZ Content Management Service', it should run.

Then you need to go to the Task Manager, and make sure that it is now running as a process. If that doesn't fix it, then your database may have becomes corrupted, and you will need to look here to find out how to fix that.
