can I work with different windows on 2 monitors in Carrara like I can in studio ?

    Yes you can. It is a setting in your Preferences menu.

    I used to do this myself. However; due to poor user interface programming, it is possible to get a floating "stuck" in such a way that you cannot move or re-size it.

    ok I checked the Preferences menu
    now tell me pls how to get a window to second monitor
    and....how can resize the type scale
    its all to small for me

    got it with the windows
    now only the browser and sequencer stay stretched over both monitors
    what I do not like

    Are you using Windows or a Mac?

    Assuming all is setup correctly, you should be able to simply drag a window from one monitor and it will appear on the next monitor.

    on a mac you have to hold command and drag the top part of browser to disconnect to resize bottom rite corner and drag. sequencer a button top right to disconnect

    thank you all for trying to help
    I like to have 1 monitor for only the view/workport
    and the other for all the other like browser, sequencer, properties etc.
    now found out I can move the browser/sequencer by holding ctr-key

    ok first step made for working with C 8.5 pro

    I hope we get a bigger font size with C9

    cant. ive made multiple requests for detachable palettes but nothing yet
