Has anyone tried (like me) to click on the MHE:Fruit link in the revolving add on the shop page?
It brings me to the MHE: Vegetables (which I already have!)
You can of course search through the store, and eventually locate the 'new' Fruit product, but this does not show either as new or having a 30% discount, .. (tried putting it in me cart..;-P.)
Add this to the ever growing list of daily (but common) blunders in Quality Control :smirk:

We've reported this, and the missing discounts on the Gritty Bundle and the Cookware. At least Fruit, Grits and Cookware go together so it makes sense for them all to have problems.
Not just me who fell over this then? If you follow the link (and end up on the veggie page), just overtype vegetable with fruit in the URL.
Well, thank you for that Richard... :)
Hmmm... Does it really make sense?, .. or maybe you mean DAZ shop sense.. (strolls away mumbling and with a dazed look on me face..) :smirk:

Do you look at the New Releases page? Right there at the bottom of the left-side grey sidebar and also in the top line of the Shop drop-down menu. Scroll down below the rotating banner ad, and there's the Fruit set. No searching until "eventually" is ever needed.
A lot of people never seem to realise there is a New Releases page, with clear and obvious links and banners for all the current sales and offers. Maybe DAZ needs to do some research on how everyone comes into the store?

Oh! I beg your pardon!
How stupid of me , .. to expect the 'Point of sale ' and adverts, placed by the 'DAZ sales team' so prominent on the store page, to be functioning correctly! It is therefore MY (and some other fellow shoppers) fault that the site has these 'unfortunate mistakes' finding their way into the front pages. I stupidly followed the link in the email I received this morning, which brought me straight to the 'Faulty" ad. ..
The links were faulty, leading to incorrect items, and to make matters more annoying, when one did search the site (and indeed I did just that, by searching for Lantios, the vendor ) one found that no discounts had been applied to these (and not marked as) 'new' items. There were other items which were found to be incorrectly operating on the site besides, though I wasn't interested in the other items so didn't bother to mention them, and I already had the 'vegetables'
You should also know, that in the time lapse between my first flagging the faults in the banners etc. then Richard passing the heads up to the sales people ... and then your little lecture to me, and others, (a matter of some 12 hours by the time your little 'contribution' here)
In that space of time, the site pages had undergone a true metamorphosis, and all links/data were corrected. Your input was indeed a bit late, and (because the faults were by then rectified, culminating in my purchase),...not best informed.
You know what?!
I'm not in the slightest bit interested in your musings on whether DAZ should put more thought into how their customers use the site.
I AM however, VERY interested in seeing due diligence shown by the sales team in seeing that every link, and advertisement they display, WORK, and is fit for purpose!
I am a dedicated DAZ user. I truly LOVE this 3d thing, and have no other wish but to see it grow and prosper.
But I don't think letting these things go unchecked will do MY DAZ, any good in the long run.

My apologies, I didn't mean to sound preachy. I'm just as annoyed at the frequent store glitches, but I'd just got online for the evening when I replied to your post — I was still seeing the weird pricing (but not the faulty links), and trying to figure them out myself.
This does seem to be a consequence of DAZ using the CloudFlare service to run the store; DAZ customers are all over the world, and we all get store pages from the nearest CloudFlare centre (London in my case) — they're all supposed to update together when DAZ changes their data, but that frequently doesn't quite work out. In this case, I was still seeing the glitched pages for a few hours after my reply. And I've just now noticed a few more changes, to what I assume are the correct prices and discounts.

My bookmark bar link lands directly on new releases page. If the fruit has been there all along I missed it. I clicked on the rotating banner ad and saw I already had it (yeah one says veggies the other fruit but I didn't notice and really only thought generically 'food'). So I ignored it and also because another item (a bundle) only contains products I already have so I shrugged and moved along.
Because of this thread I went back and said 'duh' and got the fruit. It is annoying.
Quite probable. One other store annoyance that I've just noticed in the last few months (if it's been there all along, maybe I've usually missed it because I don't log in to the store until late-ish in the evening) — many new items appear in New Releases last, sometimes hours after they've appreared in their respective category pages. I've noticed this most often with each week's PC goodies, but it can crop up pretty much anywhere. Add that into "not everyone sees the same thing on a store page" and things can get really confusing.
