One thing you will have to watch is that different sets of rolling stock are built to different gauges.
Plus there's one for TerraDome https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files/prod/33471
Terrain with track.
DryJack has a lot of railway track options on his rendo freestuff page:

The models shown are decent models of toy train tracks. The original poster wanted realism which is still unfilfilled.
Are you offering your modelling services to the OP? I can't model better than those pointed to myself, and I spend most of my days modelling on a PC doing engineering modelling for a living.
Failing being able to do better, DryJack's ones are a good start and with some time & effort on the textures & materials by the OP I'm sure a fair degree of realism can be obtained - probably as good as the realism exhibited by any characters in the images. For full realism, I suspect steel, timber & ballast will be needed.
...what I'd like to see is a proper subway track with the thrid "hot rail". There are so many subway sets which have no means for the train to get power.
As to a fairly realistic track with ballast, the ones from the Old Railway Station by Dogz are pretty good however they only are straight sections.
