really! back to Valentina ?

...or can we split cms for both programs (Studio and Carrara)?

    From what I understand... no.
    You must run one or the other. One, of course, doesn't work in Carrara 8.5 yet.

    just found out that I can use all my daz-studio categories with the new cms
    so no need to go back to valentina

    Hi ruphuss,

    When the new CMS came out, I immediately installed it and noticed that things were not working. So I rebooted, and everything magically started to work, or so I thought....Unless you take extra steps to uninstall Valentina, it will continue to run alongside PostgresSQL but will no longer be updated. DIM will check for PostgresSQL first, and install any new content to it, and not to Valentina. So while it will appear to be working for both, it really beaks DIM for Carrara. Good luck!

    categories are not updated with new cms in Carrara
