Windows 8.1 and Daz content installers

Just got a new PC with windows 8.1 . Have poser 10 installed and was getting ready to install V4.2 when i got an error message and the installer crashed. I can install V4.1 that uses the old installer, but none of the new installers work they all crash.I'm sure this is a Windows 8 problem . Problem being i have a ton of content that i would like to install so what to do now??? Searched the forums and couldn't find anyone having this problem.

    Most DAZ 3D content is now in zip files, not installers, and that does include V4.2

    Try downloading the newer zip files from your product library

    Or download DIM and use that to download and install your content. It is designed to make installation easier and faster.

    Something strange is going on after running one of the old installers now the new ones are working go figure, really already over this Windows 8.1 . Thanks for the reply!
