How can I stop gamma resetting to 1.0?

I am now using linear workflow (as discussed elsewhere), but I often find that in my render settings, the gamma value has dropped back down to 1.0 (from 2.2 where I left it). This is very annoying as it produces darker renders and I start worrying about my lighting until I remember this annoying habit of DAZ's.

How can I stop this happening? I want to be able to save default render settings somehow and have them stay set!!

Go to Edit>Preferences>Scene and under Render Settings check Ignore when opening a scene file.

I just went to this and it is already checked. Any other ideas?

Not really, it works for me - unless I'm just lucky. Of course it may not be loading scenes that's resetting your render settings, but for me they are persistent between sessions. You may need to open a support ticket.

yeah, I don't think it's necessarily when a scene changes. It just seems to happen at random, on the same scene between test renders
