How to setup a background image for compositing

I have a picture that I took where I would like to add some content created with Daz which needs to be perfectly position to match the ground & light.

What is the best way in Daz to do this? I am probably using the wrong keywords but I cant find anything related to aligning background plates.

It is not important for me for the picture to be rendered with the subject since I can do that in PS afterward. I just want to be able to set the picture in the background then position the Daz camera to match my original camera position and angle.

You can go to edit backdrop to load in the image and have it in the scene or you can create a new plane primitive and apply the image to it in the surface as a diffuse image. I don't remember if you need to remove the background if you render a png for compost work or not. If you use a primitive you would need to hide it before render.
