Using DAZ file with OBJs on multiple computers

I apologize if this has been discussed already.

I work on 2 computers, work and home. I use dropbox to sync the files. If the DAZ scene file has all characters and objects I have purchased from DAZ, I have no problem, but if it has an obj I've imported, the link breaks when I open the file on the second computer, even though the obj is still in the folder.

Is there a way to keep the obj object working between the synced computers?

    DS should be able to find the OBJ if the auto-generated asset is missing, as it might be on the other machine, as long as it is in a mapped directory (somewhere in a folder that appears in the Content Library under Other Formats) or in the same absolute location.
