Clothing (Biohazard suit) listed as compatible but refuses to import
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but… Help?
I'm working on a project where I'll be using Blender's awesome smoke simulations – but I'll also want to use figures from DAZ, more specifically Genesis 8 males and females in biohazard suits. My first thought was to do some simple compositing – matching the Blender camera settings with Daz Studio's, and just mix the two together. I then discovered Daz trats camera settings more like suggestions and that such matching was… non-trivial. The differences aren't necessarily huge, but enough for there to be some risk of people seeing that something's "off" in the final composite.
So I tried the Daz to Blender bridge.
The biohazard suit is listed as compatible with the Blender bridge. It's made for Genesis 8.
I add a generic Genesis 8 Basic Male body. I add the suit (without the helmet etc, for testing purposes). I do the Daz to Blender script thing, using subdiv 0 and no minimal morphs.
When importing to Blender, I just get the "vertex order has changed" error.
I've tried exporting:
- Genesis 8 Basic Male by itself – works fine.
- G8BM + just the helmet – works fine.
- G8BM + the gloves – error
- G8BM + the boots – error
So it seems I can only get the helmet to work, nothing else.
Since the suit is listed as being compatibla with the bridge, I'm wondering if I'm missing something?
Any ideas? Anything I haven't tried, that I should?
And if I can't get it to work, any ideas on how to get in touch with the person who made the biohazard suit?

you need to look at import and export to make sure you 'Keep Vertex Order'; don't recall where exactly and can't look now. In blender it is under an option that is usually collapse iirc.
