Practical-Looking Female/Unisex Armour

There have been some stunningly beautiful sets of mediaeval armour brought out for Genesis 2 males, but why is it so difficult to find something for female fantasy characters? Or, to be more accurate, something which looks like it would do a good job of protecting them, rather than exposing as much skin as possible? :)

It wouldn't necessarily have to have cleavage welded into it. Something unisex might even be better, so that Genesis 1 and/or both genders of Genesis 2 could wear it. Seriously, though... Female warriors seem to be badly in need of some practical-looking, non-sexualised protection!

Something based on the second and third 'Underworld' movies would be a great starting point. Especially if looking to fill the other niche of evil-looking armour. Hell, give an option for blade-like blade attachments for the fingers/wrists/gauntlets, if you want an even more villainous design.

C'mon, guys... Daz women can be noble defenders/vicious killing machines of the ancient world, too!

Xenomorphine, I fully second what you said. I recommend checking out Wood Ranger for Genesis made by Dariofish.

    Solution 1:

Find yourself a good chainmail texture. Apply it as a second skin (or to the bodysuit or to the MFD). Use any of the armors you're talking about to provide accents. Match the textures.

    Solution 2:

Hide everything except the female head (and maybe the neck). Position and parent it to one of the male armors. Pose the armor instead of Genesis.

For the record, the example armor given fails the practicality test hard. Boob-plate is about the worst possible design in the long and storied history of bad armor design. Any sharp blow to the chest region results in all the force getting focused straight onto the sternum, quite possibly cracking it and potentially even stopping the heart. You'd be better off in Red Sonja's outfit - it might not be very protective, but at least it's not actively harmful.

    (Sorry; had to be said.)
