Baddies and Goodies Challenge.

I'm in character creation mode atm and wondered if anyone else would care to join me in a spot of character creation.

Please post your baddie (or villan) and goodie (or righteous hero) pics.

I'm preparing to animate with these in 2015 as part of the Sci Fi Funk Project. This guy features in Episode 18 of Sci Fi Funk.

I tried to make him out of Freak 4, but went with those M4++ morphs in the end.

Custom pinstripe suit, shirt and tie textures. When it comes to the real thing (in Octane), his jacket will use a fur shader.

Thanks you very much, Sir. I worked on his one a little bit. The mask was just Guy Fawkes mask.

Here is an old one I made featuring some "good" guys (and girls). I am working on a short story using them, but it's far from finished.

Sorry, I'm sure most everyone has seen a version of this before, but I just couldn't resist. I guess this would be a baddie that's a goodie :ohh:

That's always a nice render to see! Great job on all of it.

    Love it!

Yeah, everyone's likely seen all of the ones I've posted too... I just couldn't resist the thread! I'll have to get some of my new stuff up here when I get some time.

That's excellent. Did you use post to get that colorization or did you achieve it solely through rendering?

The one where she is holding up the gun in the ruins is my fav. Although as a character she works well in all the pics.

The baddie is truly gruesome - congrats!

Look at that render man! Well done. Octane and crystal crisp. Either you've upped the rig or you are patient, or (says with a wink - you've discovered how to get more out of cut-out scenery and the direct lighting kernel ?).

The gang. Four thugs you don't want to meet. Rendered in Carrara. (Come on let's have the OCTANE plug-in). I'm aware my spot light chops off the left hand mans legs a bit. This was a 5 min render using GI which for me is an eternity. lol.

p.s. I'm hearing the theme music to Lock, Stock and Two smoking barrels as I write this. Which one? The opening sequence music.

Now a goodie character. A female street pastor. A volunteer to help the drunk/injured get home. You can't get a compatible 3d fluorescent jacket for love nor money. (I have spent my budget anyway except for Octane related matters). So I've cannibalized this from a freebie paramedic jacket and a poser world licensed jacket. Even so lots of modelling to do to make it even fit.

p.s. I challenge someone to find an M3 similar jacket. I could add in a second character if so. Otherwise I'll do the scene with just her. p.p.s the Sparky world jacket doesn't count unless you can get hold of the original figure from somewhere. From what I can see that vendor ceased years ago.

A little doodling from my laptop. M4, V4, Hellbeast. I'd say Hellbeast is the hero. Dang Earthlings are trespassing everywhere. Then they get all in-your-face when you try to tell them to clean up the rocket ship mess they made.

Edit - M4 character made with assistance of morphs ++. The M4 hair is a strand based thing I tried to do. The V4 hair is the Amy hair from RDNA. Clothes are Carrara vertex models converted to figures using the Daz transfer utility, after converting an m4 and V4 to triax rigging.

The really cool part about her is the ability to express her. She has a ton of expressive morphs injected into her... and they really bring her to life!

    Bravo!
I love that idea! I'm going to include that basis in one of my upcoming episodes!
Different main character, of course... I don't want to copy you, or anything!

BC Rice. Nice work. The goodie has large eyes - always good for looking innocent, and the middle baddie - classic look. :)
