Color Caluculations

Hi there!

Does anybody know what algorithms Carrara uses to calculate the sub colors for Background, Major Accent and Contro (and not shown in the preferences: Highlight and Alternate Highlight)l?
I tried several color spaces and a lot of calculations, but I do not get a direct result using the decimal values.

Any idea is appreciated.

    I truly don't mean to sound rude, but why? Seems like a bit of a PITA for just the interface. I pick colors based on how well they remain visible in complicated scenes. I would think the color space would be more relevant to the rendered output.

    It makes fun - no to be serious:
    I'm working on a tool to manage different color settings directly within the preferences.txt.
    With the possibility to save color schemes.
    Maybe there could be chances to manipulate other settings.

    But when it will be possible with C9, to save different preference settings, then it's really wasted time.

    Will there be a C9 or has it gone the way of Hexagon?
