Remember to put a punchable in your cart if you want to see those discounted prices (on the 50% of the 2014 releases.) (and the 60% stores.) Some folks are telling me they aren't getting the prices I did, and you will if you have a punchable- after I chatted/emailed with a few of you about my favorites twenty minutes ago, I checked out and the prices I told you were correct. One punchable required (as per the promo banner instructions.)
I spent my next month's budget but got sets I had been waiting for. With the 15% off the gift certificate (got to 15 punches again with the sole purpose of buying at 60%- but with that additional discount it was more like 75%- 78% for me) I've got some neat sets. I'll list a few here in the next post.

Here is a screenshot of my cart. I'm not seeing a tremendous deal. And I thought rawArt was 65% off? I see only 50% which is a great deal, mind you, but not what others are getting. =-)

The punchable I got was the Patchwork Shoes- love that the soles and rest of the shoe can be mix-matched with other Patchwork sets.

A very good product. I use small proportions of them in custom character morphs so have nothing to show off that would properly represent the product (they are perfect at full strength for villains and thugs, which I don't render) but can recommend it.

Yes. And older DOs aren't showing any discount at all. They seem to be following the same pricing scheme as the PAs.

Guys, I put Lee Starter Bundle in my cart along with a punchable (screened by DO) and it went half off. What exactly are you trying that isn't working, and I'll do the same cart?
Was the Lee Starter Bundle showing any discount at all before you put it in the cart? It should have been 30% OFF before you put it in the cart. And the DO new releases for today should be 51% OFF, not 30%.
Store prices for DAZOs are broken currently.
No discounts showing, it was 79.95 and went to 39.97 when I had a punchable in the cart. Without the punchable it was 79.95
DO's are fixed.

I noticed in RawArt's thread a stacking glitch was mentioned (where a punchable triggers a discount and that stacks with the 2014 and / or 2013 discounts) so I wonder if they've fixed that too. They really need to have staff present during any sales launches, but we've told them that for years. You can't run an online business like you run a brick and mortar.

I'm thinking of picking up some Pro bundles - any recs on the females? I've picked up Lee and Gianni. Currently have M6 in my cart and Teen Jayden. I was planning on getting the Girl 6. Don't want V6. Don't really like the look of Gia or Stephanie but I'm prepared to be persuaded.
:) I like Stephanie- she's petite and I have a positive vibe about her. But sadly, there's not as much for her as I'd like. Beau, Madelline, Ginger and Taylor are in the Pro Bundle. Below is Ginger. There's a lot out there for V6- but you said you didn't want that one.

Ginger is definitely not a "type" as she has a distinctive nose. You can plump it out with the standard morphs. Here's another Stephanie 6 figure- this specifically said Riva For S6 in Characters (Content Library) And Danah Braid is one of my favorites so far as shiny hair goes. This is out of the box. Riva also works well with G2F.
This is TOO funny- I chose the Dazzle Dress before I looked up Stephanie 6- and that's the dress for the main promo of the Pro Bundle! What are the chances of that, with all the clothes I have?!
BTW, this lighting is one distant left, one right, and one front. That's it. So Riva is easy to light :)
Okay, so that's my plug for Stephanie 6. You have characters that are not botox babes all the time with unique noses. And the S6 characters look good on G2F too.

I want to call attention to an article that made me very sad, particularly since I hadn't heard anything about this (which frankly, I am not getting to much of the forums so it may have been mentioned.) Apparently PandyGirl needs emergency dental surgery (has already had some) so gum disease does not eat away at her jawbone. There is a fundraiser and this issue has the information. Please pop in if you'd like more information. On the YouCaring site, she mentioned she had EIGHT teeth pulled last week.

I'm not going to be rendering much because my horse is ill- a horse brought an illness into the barn and my horse's temperature has gone from 102 to 104. Was out at the ranch and gave him an antibiotic shot, we have severe storms coming in and my horse is going to have to stay out of the barn so as not to spread this. (It's strangles.) He has a really nice run-in building, but I dont know if the idiot will stay in it or not (horses stand out in the rain and if he feels hot, he may do that) so we are having to put up a gate to lock him in it. So I'll be busy tonight and probably tomorrow. I am catching a few winks of shuteye so I can go out around 9-10pm tonight and check on the horse during the forecasted heaviest part of the storm period.
Anyone buying the goat stuff? We've certainly had some interesting things offered lately. I didn't get that or the minotaur as I wouldn't be using them for anything. I imagine some of you are going to have some fun with them though :)
No goat for me. And I've found as much as I like marital arts films, I rarely do Asian-inspired or martial arts renders so martial arts outfits and locations and poses (unless they can be used for something else), are not things I am buying anymore. I do like it, and think the content looks good. Just... Sigh. Just not using the marital arts outfits right now.

Ditto about the horse, it's a shame he has to stay out the barn but I hope he settles in his other building and his temperature comes down soon.
I'm not tempted by the G2F outfit, the male outfit is more appealing to me and I like the dragons on the temple, but I don't have an immediate need for any of it. I'd definitely get the toon goat if I was shopping from the new releases though!
Hi- update.
The antibiotics shot worked like a charm- temperature had gone 102 to 104, and hours after the shot went to normal and has stayed there. We have a line of very bad storms coming in right now, but he is gated inside his enclosure with 3 full walls and a half wall/door in front. They were thinking about tarping that half wall opening to prevent blow-in, but I don't know if they did. It is in the upper 60's here so even if he gets misted/rained on a bit, it's okay. I was going to head out (it's 2:40am here) but that line of storms is bad. Staying put.
I am getting the temple front because I bought a lot of oriental in the past two days- to use in my book. I've picked up enough interiors to have quite a complex. :)

Ditto. I'm not into fantasy/ sexy. I find my tastes run more into layered woodsy outfits- lol- I have enough of those to outfit all of Robin Hood's men and probably the entire Disney kingdom. I've been scooping up sets and keeping an eye on their props for scene-bashing.
Glad your horse is starting to feel better. Layered woodsy outfits are what I buy most often too, for both men and women. Fantasy is good, but it has to be something practical that fantasy characters would actually wear!

Okay, playing with a few things. Going to do RawArt for you since those are still on sale. In case you haven't seen these.
BTW, if you want to match the hair to the makeup of Evolution, the reason I used Isla was because of the champagne color option which I then turned red. Use 131/27/17 in Diffuse on any blondish white hair to get close. :)
First, discovered something interesting.
When I loaded Techno Borg, (Content Library Poser section, Materials>RAW TechnoBorg) then loaded V4 Tribal Evolution it left the bump of the Techno Borg on the shoulder- but no where else.You'll see the bump on several renders, remember it's not there when you use only the Tribal Evolution.
Now, one complaint I have is that it is not clear at all what comes with the Borg. Part of that is an outfit, and part is the borg. The outfit isn't included. (Anything in red is NOT included that you see in the promos) The dark parts on the arm are borg, but only that (edit)- black- coming up in the middle of the chest is borg, the breasts are not covered at all. Not sure what outfit can go with this, or what was used in the promo. The booty isn't covered at all either.
Also, with TechnoBorg, I am not seeing a way to increase the bump or displacement, as when I click on the shoulder pieces for Surfaces, it also includes part of the regular arm but doesn't include part of the shoulder borg part! (like the rim about 4" thick going under the armpit.) So note that you can't change the bump on these parts, (I also tested it with opacity) and the borg parts don't cover the chest or hiney.
So the first one is with the borg loaded first, then Evolution on top of it. Note the shoulder bumps. Next is with the V4 Isla Hair. Then is only the TechnoBorg.
The Tribal Evolution has many different makeups. Take a close look at that one.
I'd say thumbs up on Tribal Evolution, and TechnoBorg- well....not so much. One thing about it, it renders lightning quick. Anyone done a render with it- with clothes? And if so, what did you use?
BTW, I saw the thread yesterday- apparently the PC coupons changed over a day early, so if you didn't use yours, there was a thread about it and Richard was checking into it. I assume I found it over in the Members forum section.
I used this month's DO one on the temple- with the 51% off it came to under $4!
I really like Toby Hair. Be sure and read your emails- you buy two things (from the theme today), the discount goes up to 40% from 30%. (in case it makes a difference for you.)
