I am assuming the 10 off daz original thing will be awarded Monday? I'm not clear on that.
Right. The punches clear out midnight I am assuming when Sunday turns to Monday (I guess Daz time) and the $10 becomes available. I have NOT been able to find out how long that is good for though- if there is an expiration on those. I am hoping the end of the month?
BUT NOTE- your discounts apply right away. I had an extra item which would have been 6 punches, so I just did enough to get the 5 punches and checked out. Then bought the 6th thing with a new order and got that additional 10% (60%, I am PC+)
So I started thinking about that figure that will be released (who knows when) and took a look at the featured stores, did some math, and bought another 5 things so I am at 10 punches, 20% (so 70% off) and 2 punches roll over. That also includes $20 DO so if that figure comes out I might be able to use that. So with the stuff that I am getting, what I paid has balanced out. The poppy and that chimp were so cheap, and were two punches, so I went for it. I didn't buy the Aiko 6 or Lilith so hopefully that will balance out my budget.
One of my main reasons for going for the punches was I wanted these and that made them all 70% off.
I love the open spaces and can add knick-knacks, rugs, plants, etc and totally do my own thing.

WOW you got a nice haul there.. War Eagle is wicked looking and Sabby Bunny is pretty.

I've got the 70% off (I've got ten punches) but it's not 70% off the original.
It's 14.95 x 50% is 7.47 then 20% off that is another 1.50 so that's $5.97
If it were 70% off the original price, it would be $4.49.
It's still a good deal, but just realize it's not 70% off the original price. :)

LOL. It's raining men! Thanks for posting all these, Novica and SereneNight. Corbin looks pretty good, will have to put him on my list. Ryuu for M5 is awesome. I have that one. Some great morphs too, besides the skin, which is perfect. Here is an RRRR render of him - the chubby one on the left.

Pretty cool portugese guy, comes with a nice variety of morphs and semi-bald and black-haired head. The black hair is not so good, looks fake, but the baldish gray is great - his eybrows, hair and moustache are graying so its perfect. One of the morphs is an older guy and really well done. He is a little to pink for a Mediterranean guy so I fiddle with diffuse and SSS colors some.
BTW, I voted for your three layered chess game- I absolutely adored that one! It was such a cool, novel idea! I thought the lighting added so much to the overall feel, you kept the lighting in the room realistic instead of going flukey magical, which made the lighting of the chess area perfect. It was magical but not overdone.
Maxim was my dude doing the wine walk limbo, he was the one out in the middle with the wine bottles on his feet. I like his overall dark appeal.
Nice render. I haven't seen too many men with bald heads on the online 3D art galleries that I visit. Thanks for posting.
Doing something interesting. Have you ever tried this?
I wanted to see how characters were different. Many started looking the same. So how do you see the differences? Make as much the same- aka, the same skin- and just look at the morphs. This was fun!
Load up 10 figures- aka, 10 Genesis, or in my case, 10 Genesis 2 Females.
Apply the same skin materials to all of them.
Apply the head morphs.
Some of them surprised me, particularly Caoimhe.
You can of course apply your own changes from here. Which one would you like to work from?
(Lighting is one distant from front, one overhead, one from side. Nothing special.)
EDIT: Notice how the eyelash length changed? Wow. Depending on how the mesh of the face was lengthened or shortened, it changed the eyelashes.
And I'm still exploring. :)

EDIT: On the set with Jenna, she is really little (kids size) and I raised her up.
Interesting stuff, Novica! I often to work the other way round (same character with different skin textures) to see which skins I like best.
And thanks for the Maxim renders, Luci - I do like the older guy look - he's on my wishlist (maybe later this month???)

Here are another couple of pics of my recent purchases. I'm a sucker for (virtual) jewellery so snapped up a couple of items in the PA Sale. I also (finally) got Joanie HD, who I think has been shown here before, so I'm only using her to hang accessories on rather than to make any comment on her.
First up is Clara Collection for G2F by Nikisatez. In the first image I'm using just shaders that come with the product. The jewellery items load without textures, you add your own from the selection of gemstones and metals shaders provided. In the second image I used turquoise textures from Gemologica by Fisty/Marieah instead, which they take nicely.
So the character is FW Joanie HD by FWArt/Fisty, with two of the makeup options. She's wearing Micah Hair by DAZ3D/AprilYSH and the Corvidae Dress for G2F by DAZ3D/Mada/Sarsa. I retextured the beads in the neckline to match the jewellery (as best I could) with Gemologica shaders and recoloured the dress via diffuse in the first image.
Melanie, looks really good- beautiful lighting. Micah Hair is one of my favorite short hairs. The jewelry looks really good. That's interesting to see the Gemologica changes, I think it matches up really nicely. We need more older characters like Joanie!
Thanks, Novica. So you have Maxim too. Why am I not surprised? Hehe. I like your different female head morphs with the same texture. I do like MelanieL a lot and try different textures on a morph 'til I find the one I want.

MelanieL, Joannie looks great with the Micah hair, and she does look middle aged, whatever that means. I bought her and haven't used her because I thought she looked to young, but I kind of like her in these renders (I guess at my age everybody looks young.) The jewelry is really nice too - tempting... I agree, Novica, we need more older characters, female especially, but not the "hags" we often get, like Bellatrix.
I'm done for this evening, but I did add more to the previous post on the other page. I'll finish up tomorrow, not posting all the characters obviously, just the ones that don't end up with gigantic cartoon heads and that I already have installed. I have more than enough to choose from with just these.
I went outside and video taped lightning for about fifteen minutes- it was really pretty, the flash kind without streaks (and far away.) No rain of course!

BTW, the punches are not working, it has been reported. Everyone is showing only one punch carried over, even if you are supposed to have two or three. I'd recommend waiting a bit until DAZ has been to work today, to make sure punches are working correctly and if you buy something, it's added correctly too. I'm definitely getting the Render Sphere but won't have time to play with it. Sticking to my schedule of book work. Have to be disciplined and not get side tracked. That's why I am looking at all these characters, I have to pick one as my base to work from for a main character. Doing the rest of those heads today.
I picked up the render sphere. It looks interesting. I sort of feel bad for the PAS' that are going to be selling mid month. I Think DAZ is wiping me out early in the month. =-)

Yeah, agreed. I wonder how they do that? They do seem to use the bigger anchor PA's and scatter them through the sale. Perhaps it is done by theme or submission dates when scattering folks through the month. I'm also getting the horse.
Did your render sphere record correctly as a punch? I am holding off until they get that fixed. Will checkout later today. And remember gal, you said you wouldn't shop early in the day because they often add things (like spend $ and get $ off) Tsk tsk, you forgot? :)

Yes, I got a punch. But I was at the lower tier so maybe that's why mine works, and yours is squiffy.
I also have the 10 dollar off daz oriignals and it shows up at the top of my screen in the 'banner' alert form.
The good news about the 10 dollar off coupie is that it covers new releases, so I can get that new men's hair. =-)

In case you folks who haven't earned enough punches yet are wondering about the DO rewards, for week one, they can only be used ONE time, and expire Sunday the 14th.
