Is there a way to increase the res of dForce Hair

Hey,
is there a way to increase the resolution of strand based dForce Hair?
Sometimes it's looks really low res.
Sadly, there is only the base resolution option.

Depending on whether the hair is using root radius or target surfaces, you can increase either the pre-render points per hair, or reduce the pre-render interpolation segment length in the surfaces tab. Beware that overdoing it can become very resource intensive, and adjusting the pre-sim rather than the pre-render settings can drastically change how the hair will drape during simulation, so best to just change the pre-render settings.
