I need a Bentley

Hello all,
I am working on a low budget movie and I need to find a free 3D model of a Bentley. I don't need textures, just the model. I have found great free models of all kinds of luxury cars except a Bentley.

Well if there isn't one in this list, then I doubt that one is available http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/623/ On the other hand if anyone would know where to find one it would be Rob, who made the list.

    Try this - http://tf3dm.com/3d-model/bentley-continental-gt-75602.html

It is 3DS and imports into Carrara just fine.

Don't know whether it was made this way to save on file size, or Carrara is reading it wrong, but it only has one wheel and one door - easily fixed in Carrara by duplicating.

Maybe it was parked in a bad neighbourhood?

If it was a bad neighbourhood there wouldn't be any wheels ;)

But you may get a bonus of 4 piles of used bricks

Great Tip, I downloaded the model and all the textures. I imported it and it looks great. Although, you were right, 3 tires and a door are missing. It is a shame auto theft has migrated to the digital world. Is nothing safe?>:(

Oh, and I had to flip the car because it was obviously built European. The steering was on the wrong side.

I think it will work great. I just made a quick test and it crumples nicely.

That's an expensive crumple... those plastic bollards are a menace!

    Looking good.

Wow! Not having a clue where to find a Bentley, along with my incredible lack of time right now, I've been bypassing this thread.
What a mistake that I'm glad to have finally remedied! What a hilarious Thread!

M, all that to go and crash the thing? Two words:

    "How Cool!" :ahhh:

I just thought, "Bentley... meh. Now if it was a Mk2 Jag...." ;)

Seriously though, that's an awesome crumple effect. I'd love to know how to do something like that.

I'm going to put it in a video with a green screened actor.

It was simple. I just used the move tool and bunched it up. I then used the displacement tool and painted some rough spots in. All done in the vertex room.

Cool, thanks. I've never played with the displacement tool (yet...!)
