File open is no longer an option, plus Daz is crashing constantly.
So I encountered a very troublesome problem that happened for seemingly no reason at all.
Normally when I work in Daz, under the File dropdown menu, I would have options like save, export, open, etc. Now, for no reason I can figure, my only three options are exit, save as, and export to Bryce.
I've been working on a LAMH(look at my hair) file for a wooly mammoth, and the only problem I was encountering was the fact that Daz would crash when I'd try to save my work(apparently working with hair mandates you save your work about every 3-5 steps if you don't want to lose your progress). I could accept this, and things were going fine.
But after Daz crashed one of those times(just like it had been doing if I got carried away and was trying to save upwards of 20 steps of progress) I reopened Daz to find that my panel options were no longer in the same order, and that now under file I only had those three options.
So I went into the folder I keep my .duf files and selected the file I was working on. It opened, but now if I try to open the LAMH asset associated with the file, Daz immediately crashes, disallowing me to make any progress.
I want to know if anyone else has experienced a random limitation in the program interface for no definable reason, and what can done about it if so. Because honestly, it seems like Daz glitched for some reason and no longer works the same.
Any advice would helpful. I have not tried uninstalling and re-installing in hopes I wont have to(I really don't want to set up the paths for all my objects again).
Thanks all for any advice.

I don't know about the LAMH problem, but go to Window > Workspace > Select Layout, and change to one of the other layouts, then change back again to your normal layout, that usually fixes it.
It worked! Thank you! Now to solve this pesky LAMH issue.
Thanks again!
Hi [email protected], is your computer running a 64 bit operating system with at least 4 gigabytes of memory? My observation is that Look at my hair doesn't run well on 32 bit systems or computers with less than 4 GB of RAM. I haven't had any problems with LAMH on the Gensis mouse on Windows 7 64 bit with 4 GB of memory. Sorry I couldn't help out more.
Yes and yes.
It was running fine, and works great for models that already have .lmh files you can attach. My problem occurred while I was creating my own .lmh, but even so, the file would at least open, and I could work on it as long as I wanted(as long I saved really frequently). And now the file crashes DAZ the instant it finishes loading.
I sent the error report to DAZ, so maybe they'll have an answer.
Thanks though!
